Event Overview

Join the Seattle Seawolves 5K & Kids Dash for a high-energy morning of fitness, community, and rugby spirit. Hosted by the Seattle Seawolves Foundation in partnership with the Snohomish Running Club, this all-ages event includes a 5K run, jog, or walk, a Kids Dash, music, vendors, and appearances from Seawolves players. Proceeds support Rugby in Schools and Run With the Pack programs in partnership with the King County Boys & Girls Club. These initiatives help youth build confidence, improve fitness, and develop healthy habits. A portion of proceeds also supports the Washington State Rugby High School State Championships.

Community Fun Run

Run, jog, or walk the 5K with fans, families, and local runners. All fitness levels welcome.

Youth Impact

Support programs that bring rugby, fitness, and mentorship to youth across King County.

Participant Requirements

  • All participants must register in advance
  • No race-day registration
  • Each participant must complete a waiver
  • Participants under 18 require parent or guardian signature
  • Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable
  • No unregistered runners allowed on course

Kids Dash (1K) Details

The Kids Dash is a 1K run designed for participants ages 14 and under. This short, family-friendly course gives young runners a fun and safe race experience. All participants finish near the main event area alongside 5K runners.

Parent / Guardian Information

  • Children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian
  • Parents and guardians of registered participants receive course access to support their runner
  • Access areas include key viewing points and the finish line
  • Only registered participants receive a finisher medal
  • Arrive early to allow time for check-in and staging

Course Info & Safety!

Water Stations

Water is available at the halfway point and at the finish line. Plan ahead and stay hydrated.

Safety & Medical

Medical teams are stationed along the course. Emergency support is available throughout the event. Restrooms are located at the start and finish area and at the halfway point.

Not Permitted on Course

No bicycles, skateboards, inline skates, or motorized devices No pets or strollers No unregistered runners on the course

Headphone Policy: Headphones are discouraged. Keep volume low so you hear course staff, announcements, and surrounding activity.

Spectator Info

Spectators can view the finish line from a designated viewing area near the event hub. Access may require a free spectator ticket, with a limit per transaction. Plan to arrive early for the best viewing spots.

Parents and guardians of registered participants receive access to support their runner at key areas including the finish line Children ages 2 and under do not need a spectator ticket Only registered participants are allowed in restricted post-race areas

5K Fun Run Details

Timing & Awards

Runners start in waves beginning at 10:00 AM. Waves release every 10 to 15 minutes until all participants are on course. Each finisher receives a medal at the finish line.

Course Description

The 5K course starts near the Tukwila Family Fun Center and follows a marked route through the surrounding area. The course is designed for all fitness levels and ends near the main event hub. Final course map will be shared closer to race day.

Entertainment

Enjoy music at the start and finish areas along with on-course energy points. Seawolves players, mascots, and event hosts will be present to support runners throughout the event.

All registered participants who complete the 5K receive a commemor
